Tyler Davis and his team were professional and courteous from the moment they arrived. His attention to details and experience really showed in the final product. Our 1950's house was transformed into a modern space for less than we ever imagined. Tyler made some great suggestions on how to save us money and worked long days to get the work done in our time frame. Thanks to Tyler and Atlanta Building Company for a superior job.
Professional, honest service, and excellent communication, along with quality workmanship. I've been using the services of Atlanta Building Company for several years and they have always exceeded my expectations. John Southwell gives me peace of mind knowing the project will be completed as promised with no unexpected surprises.
We hired Atlanta Building Company in 2010 to build our house. John was easy to work with and our house is great. In 2013 we hired Atlanta Building Company to return and finish our basement. The finished project is seamless with the rest of the house. John and his subs were respectful and considered our style from start to finish on both projects.
John with Atlanta Building Company has built three houses for me over the years (the first in 1994). Obviously I wouldn't keep using him, if I wasn't pleased with his work. Always the soft spoken consummate gentleman, John surrounds himself with competent folks -- engineers, architects, tradesmen, suppliers, etc. When problems develop (as they inevitably will), John quietly and doggedly resolves the issues, until a satisfactory conclusion is reached. The building industry (codes, products, and techniques) are constantly changing and evolving -- and when John comes up against something new or different -- he doesn't attempt to bluff his way through; he does his homework -- presents the options (and the associated costs) -- and then proceeds.
For some reason, the building industry seems to attract a bunch of goof-balls who talk a good game, but can't deliver -- their only goal is to get the money and run. John does a superb job of filtering these guys out of the equation -- so projects run smoothly, on time, and on budget.
I am a meticulous, demanding, knowledgeable homeowner -- and my gut feeling is, if John can keep me happy -- he can keep any reasonable person happy. He'll be starting a fourth project for me soon.
I had spotted Atlanta Building Company doing a remodel in our neighborhood. I stopped by to ask one of the guys what they were doing and they invited me into the home to see for myself. They were remodeling the entire downstairs of a home. But, the representative from Atlanta Building Co said they to everything from changing out ceiling fans to major renovations. I asked them to take a look at my bathroom and we struck a deal for them to do the remodel. It was a tear-out and replace vanity, cabinets, and flooring. Great job, and the workers were the most polite and conscientious people we've worked with. They weren't the cheapest but they did great work, and were very easy and accommodating to work with. About six months later, the tissue dispenser came loose. I tried to fix it myself but was not successful. I asked John if they could stop by to help. They came by quickly and fixed in three minutes what it would have taken me hours to fix. Great folks, timely work, good job.
