"John with Atlanta Building Company has built three houses for me over the years (the first in 1994). Obviously I wouldn't keep using him, if I wasn't pleased with his work. Always the soft spoken consummate gentleman, John surrounds himself with competent folks -- engineers, architects, tradesmen, suppliers, etc. When problems develop (as they inevitably will), John quietly and doggedly resolves the issues, until a satisfactory conclusion is reached. The building industry (codes, products, and techniques) are constantly changing and evolving -- and when John comes up against something new or different -- he doesn't attempt to bluff his way through; he does his homework -- presents the options (and the associated costs) -- and then proceeds.
For some reason, the building industry seems to attract a bunch of goof-balls who talk a good game, but can't deliver -- their only goal is to get the money and run. John does a superb job of filtering these guys out of the equation -- so projects run smoothly, on time, and on budget.
